Letter about "The Phantom Of The Opera"

April 29th, 2014

Mr.
Charles Darwin
234 John Smith Street
New York

Dear Charles,

Recently, I visited the Paris Opera House; I went to watch Romeo and Juliet. It was incredible; this classic show of Shakespeare continues being one of most watched show in the world.
When the show had ended, I went to the foyer party. I talked with the ballerinas, I congratulated them, and during the conversation, we touched the topic of the Opera’s building. They said to me that in last month, there had happened some mysterious events, and rumors of a phantom had spread in the dressing rooms. Particularly, I talked with Sorelli, one of the principals ballerinas of the cast. She is very superstitious and she is extremely scared of the phantoms and she said to me that these events had occurred mostly in the cellars or in the dressing-rooms, when the persons are alone. The only person who had seen the phantom was Joseph Buquet, the chief stagehand, who spent a big part of his time in the cellars. He said that the phantom is extraordinarily thin and his dress-coat hangs on a skeleton frame. His eyes are so deep that you can hardly see the fixed pupils. You just see two big black holes, as in a dead man's skull. His nose is so little worth talking about that you can't see it side-face; and the absence of that nose is a horrible thing to look at.
Charles, this theme has me really intrigued; I want to come back as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,

Joaquín Garay.

Describing a Photo

The photo that will be described now is related to the controversy of the movie "The last temptention of Christ".
In this photo, we can see a man shouting with a crowd behind him, protesting outside of a cinema that has a big sing at the entrance, with the name of the film. A person of the crowd has a post raised that said "Biblical Jesus. He is equal" with the words "Biblical" and "Equal" written in red letters. We cannot see whole post, but personally, I think it says "Biblical Jesus. He is equal with God" in accordance with the Bible in John 5:18, when Jesus said he is equal to God. Maybe, the people that were protesting, want to express that Jesus Christ will never be like common people, or commit a sin, like the Jesus shown in the film. That is why they are protesting, and they want to forbid the movie because they think that it is insensitive with Catholicism, and attacks the figure of Jesus Christ.
In my opinion the film should not be prohibited because it is just a fiction and doesn't represent the real Jesus Christ. People have to be open minded and accept this kind of movies like a fantasy and learn about it.

Describing a picture!

http://year11lbhl.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/ss-130328-twip-01-ss_full.jpg

In this picture, I see 5 children playing with water guns in a narrow street, three of them are on a wall and the rest are on the street. In the top right corner, I can see a kind of low class buildings.
Those children seem to be very happy playing with his toys. They seem to be of low social class because of the neighborhood in which they live. Although, they do not need expensive toys to have a good time, even I think they are happier than any child playing with some video game with those simples inexpensive water guns.
Sometimes we have to realize that we do not need expensive things to be happy and have a good time, because when you share with your friends, you spend a lot better, it does not matter what toys you will play with.
